Adarsh Gram Yojna Empowering villages

It is desirable that corporate groups at the village level effectively adopting villages, rather than simply providing a funds to the government or its agencies to use as it wishes, which may not be effectively used to roll-out service to the poor, or at an affordable cost.

Funds collected from charity should be targeted and be focused on empowering people rather than giving handouts.

Self-reliant development of rural India through Adarsh Gram Teerth Yojna (Movement for the creation of ideal villages): Special shramdaan (collective labor) programs are organized by All World Gayatri Pariwar in rural parts of India – including the tribal bases in the interior – for ‘teaching by doing’. Programs like health and hygiene, literacy and reformative activities, and encouraging participation of villagers, are emphasized. Community services are also conducted through social functions, and mass participation in agricultural and small scale industry based developmental programs. Special emphasis is given to the use of cattle based resources and other local resources.

Several corporate groups together can sponsor such development programs with a vision of providing , training programmes for Sarpanchs, Gram Sevaks, and village level government functionaries ...

Gayatri Parivar could play crucial role in spiritual and ideological transformation in the society alongwith the corporate groups. We have projects and the corporates resources .
